Information for Parents

Kākātahi School is a full primary school that caters to the learning needs of children aged year 0 through to year 8. We have an open door policy which means you are always welcome to join in the classroom learning alongside your child. We encourage as many school visits prior to your child starting  but are flexible and work in with you. 

We are part of the Schools Donation Scheme which means we will not ask you to contribute to the purchasing of stationary or any day trips that are part of the curriculum - we cover all these costs.  We also provide our learners with a nutritious and delicious lunch each day as part of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako Healthy Lunches programme. All you need to provide is morning tea. Pop in and check us out.
